The Tea Party began as a grassroots movement concerned with the growing size of the federal government and our nation’s debt. While progressives want to portray the Tea Party as a radical group that is out of touch, today there are thousands of Tea Party groups made up of regular Americans just like you.
Tea Party members know that Washington’s policies of stimulus spending, bailouts, increasing entitlements, and takeover of the private sector are destroying us economically. What America needs now is real healthcare reform, energy autonomy, relief from detrimental regulatory burden, smaller government, and reformed national defense policy to combat 21st century enemies.
Let’s mobilize for a decisive victory in November. It is the economy and we are not stupid!
|The Tea Party is radical and out of touch.||Tea Party members are part of a grassroots movement that clearly understands the perilous economic situation we are in.|
|Focus is on social concerns, using abortion, contraception, and marriage issues to incite emotion.||Social issues become a moot point if we slide into financial insolvency.|
|Unleash the Occupy Wall St. crowd to disrupt and challenge the Tea Party.||Groups, such as those participating in Occupy Wall Street demonstrations, should be protesting in Washington DC, where economically crippling policies are created.|
|Obscure facts with emotion to play to entitled crowds who are dependent on big government.||We must responsibly reform our entitlement programs or they will bankrupt our nation.|
|Fabricate inflammatory statements to discredit conservatives. Litigate and sue to obstruct Tea Party groups’ activities.||The economy is everybody’s issue. This is not about “Us vs. Them.”
