Progressives

The Progressive mindset tries to put the Federal Government in charge of caring for our families, but in reality it has bankrupted us all for generations.

Some Americans believe that it is the responsibility of the federal government to provide for the needs of its citizens.  They believe the government does this through controlling key elements of our survival.  Those supporting “social progress” and “the preservation of personal rights through government involvement” are known as Progressives.  Having the mindset of “equality for all” and relying on a big government to make decisions “out of the best interest of everyone,” they elect government officials that decide a “fair” result for everyone.

This section shows how Progressives’ beliefs fundamentally violate instinctive natures in all of us.  These articles will explore how to return this country to a place where great economic opportunity exists for all Americans.

8.5.2012 | The Social Gospel: Progressives Twist Scripture for Political Gain

What would you think if the President of the United States declared the government was a god to whom all citizens owed their loyalty and devotion at any cost, and therefore inalienable rights of the individual were nonsense? On April 2, 2012 President Obama gave a speech in support of redistribution of wealth where he [...]

Cliffhangers, suspense, political intrigue, and people rising from the dead. Probably not, yet in the New Hampshire 2012 Presidential Primaries dead voters who were [...]

On May 17, and again on May 18, 2012, Vice President Joe Biden went on a rant claiming, “They don’t get us! They don’t get who we are!” He claimed “they,” meaning the Republican Party, doesn’t get “us” poor and middle class people. His comments were a baiting of class envy, inciting the average American [...]

Don’t leave home without it. You’ll need it for almost every area of your life. If you want to drive a car, board an airplane, cash a check, open a bank account, see a doctor, rent an apartment, or get a job, you’d better have it as proof of your identity. Yet for one of [...]

Have you ever wondered how you would take over a country?  The idea of some group conspiring to take over and create radical change seems like something out of Hollywood. There have been many people in history who have strategically attempted to take over nations to impose their agendas.  One of those was Karl Marx. [...]

In April 2011, students at the University of California-Merced were asked if they would be willing to sign a petition that would allow the redistribution of their GPAs to students having trouble fulfilling graduation requirements.  Those students with an “excessive” GPA of 4.0 would have a reduction to a 3.8 and the extra 0.2 points [...]

2.18.2012 | Scorecards and What They “Score” for Progressives

I love sports and competition and in most cases, like in golf or football, scores are used to measure your achievement.  So it was interesting to see the recent ‘Progressive Honor Roll for 2011’ that was published by a Progressive magazine called The Nation.[1]   YES, a scorecard for Progressives on how politicians rate.  But against [...]

2.3.2012 | Repressed Main Street?

Today’s news is filled with stories about groups of people around the country talking about themselves as the 99%, and expressing their feelings about the 1% who “control” the economy and the capital.  I asked, “Which am I?  Am I really one of the 99%, and are the people Occupying Streets representative of me?”  My [...]
